August 6, 2008 WE ARE LOOKING FOR PART-TIME VOLUNTEERS TO HELP FIND CÉDRIKA. For more than a year now, Cédrika’s family has been searching tirelessly for her. Hundreds of pieces of information have been transmitted to us, and we receive additional clues every day. The variety in these reports send us to the four corners of the country. It is impossible to be everywhere at once and to look into every detail without wasting countless hours travelling from one place to the other. Since Cédrika’s disappearance, many people have shown their sympathy to the cause and their eagerness to help. Many citizens have become involved, each volunteering in his or her own way. The Provencher family has re-organized its system of carrying on their search, and we need occasional help from people who are willing to follow up on information pertinent to their own region, village, town or sector. If you have friends or contacts outside the province or country, they are welcome to join in. With this kind of help, we will see a snowball effect with rapid checks and increased efficiency which will give us a better chance of finding Cédrika. Summary of the event On a beautiful summer day, the neighbourhood parc is buzzing with children having fun. It's a nice hot day, and it's still daytime. Someone approaches Cédrika, asking for help to find a lady's missing dog. Kindhearted and always ready to help, Cédrika starts looking for the dog. She rides her brand new bike around the neighbourhood, knocking on house doors and asking people if they have seen the dog. But is this dog even real ??? She is seen walking out of a wooded area with a friend, closely followed by a man. Later on, she is seen riding her bike in the parc, on Chapais street and on Des Cheneaux street... Around 8:30pm, her bike is found on the corner of Chabanel and Chapais streets, leaning against a fire hydrant... Cédrika has not been seen since... It is hard to believe that no one saw or noticed anything. Is there no witness ??? And yet it was daytime, on a nice hot summer afternoon, with a busy neighbourhood... ??? Where is Cédrika ? What happened ? Who did this ? Did anybody see anything ? Does anyboby know the culprit ??? If you have the power to end this terrible nightmare, open up your heart and let it speak... For Cédrika's sake, for her family and friends. Please share any information that could help us find little Cédrika.
